Like two die sets in one, this set delivers all the accuracy options.

By adding an additional premium Carbide Expander Assembly and a Neck Sizing Die, Lyman has created two die sets in one.
Now reloaders extract the maximum accuracy available from their cartridge and rifle combination with one die set.
In addition to accuracy enhancement, neck sizing eliminates over-working the brass, dramatically extending case life.

The set offers the following benefits:

● Carbide Expander smooths neck expansion and extends case life.
The free floating carbide button eliminates the need for inside neck lube while reducing neck and case stretching hereby extending case life.
Also repositioning the carbide button up the decapping rod better utilizes the press leverage.

● Neck Sizing Die enhances accuracy.
Retaining the precise chamber dimensions of the individual rifle maximizes accuracy potential. Plus avoiding excessive working of the brass can dramatically extend case life.

● Full Length Sizing Die restores brass to factory dimensions.
Perfect for hunting or autoloading rounds or for brass fired in other rifles.

● Bullet Seating Die precisely seats and crimps.

This Deluxe Rifle 3-Die Set consists of the following parts:

● Full Length Resizing and Decapping Die.
● Neck Sizing and Decapping Die with Carbide Expander Assembly.
● Bullet Seating Die.
● 3 Die Lock Rings.

This set contains all the dies necessary to tailor your reloads for the best accuracy and reliability possible plus the added benefit of longer brass life by sizing only where / when needed. The set contains a neck sizing die equipped with a carbide expander button, a full length sizing die equipped with a standard hardened steel expander button and a bullet seating die. The neck sizing die will size only the neck area of a case. This will maintain the fire-formed dimensions of the case so that it will match the chamber dimensions of the rifle that it was fired in. By maintaining this close fit, the bullet will be lined up with the bore of the rifle much more precisely than would occur with cases which were full length resized. Better accuracy will be the result. Please note however that cases fired in another rifle of the same caliber may not chamber in the first rifle when only the neck is sized due to differences in the chamber dimensions of the two rifles. These cases would need to be full length resized first, and then could be neck sized after firing. Neck sized cases fired repeatedly in the same rifle will also eventually need to be full length resized as the cases will become a tighter fit to the chamber each time they are fired. This may occur after 3 to 5 loadings, depending upon the load used. The neck sizing die is equipped with a decapping rod with a carbide expander button. The super hard, slick carbide button will allow for smoother neck expansion and reduced case stretching. The rod also has a spacer sleeve which can be used to position the carbide the carbide button either above or below the sleeve and thus change the position of the carbide button on the rod. The buton should be positioned above the sleeve on the rod for most calibers. The full length sizing die would be recommended for use with hunting ammunition or other applications where reliable cartridge feeding is an absolute must. It would also be used to resize cases which have been fired a number of times with neck sizing only as described above. It would also be used for cases wich have been fired in differant rifles.
