Designed to deburr and uniform flash holes in cartridge cases quickly and easily, this tool uses floating pilots to guide the cutter directly toward the flash hole of the case, resulting in a clean and uniform hole every time.
Setup / Using the Tool.
1 Select which pilot you need to use:
a 1 line: .22, .25, .27, .30, .338 and .375 caliber case mouths.
b 2 lines: .243, 6.5, 7 , 8, .35 caliber case mouths.
c No pilot: .20 caliber case mouths.
2 Once the pilot is selected make sure the pilot to be used is closest to the cutter on the shaft.
3 Slide the pilot all the way forward and hold with fingers.
4 Insert case mouth over the cutter sleeve and onto the pilot.
5 Hold case mouth and pilot firmly together while sliding the pilot up the shaft and guiding the cutter towards the flash hole of the case.
6 Deburr and uniform your flash hole.
Note:
For shorter cases both pilots can be left on the shaft. For longer cases the pilot not being used may need to be removed.
